Where would you rather shoot your balls? Which hole? Would you let it roll on a grassy outskirts or up into the air in loops?
I usually hang out with Gerry and Simon. They're brothers who are both dynamic but very different. The younger Gerry is somewhat stern, mature, and sensible while Simon is easy-going and packs a lot of energy. Gerry works for an accounting firm while Simon works as an art director. They're inseparable after their work but during weekends, they go their separate ways. They don't share the same sports interest. It has been the battle of the ages for these two silly fools, more like a sibling rivalry actually. They are debating which between basketball and golf is a better sport.
Simon would always insist that basketball is a game of stamina. A game for men unleashing their virile energies. For Simon, golf is boring, as boring as the personality of the
golf players. He says that it's like playing chess when you can have XBox 360 games. On the other hand, Gerry often quips with a counter strike. He says that basketball is sweaty, and it is the game of men who doesn't have the mental power but all the brawns alone. And the endless rumbling will follow. As always, I'm stuck in the middle.
For me, golf and basketball are virtues in their own right. Golf exudes more of the mental focus and agility while basketball with
dynamic physical coordination and team play. Nonetheless, both are symbols of character.
Successful, mature, and smart are the attached impressions when you play golf. Strong, passionate, and interesting, are how most women see basketball players. Simon is like Superman while Gerry is Clark Kent. Superman drives women crazy but Clark Kent gets Lois. So who's the chick magnet between the two? Neither! I always get the girl!
